Kennedy's Auction Service is honored to sell the library and book collection of the Wilson family of Wilson, Arkansas. The town of Wilson, Arkansas, was owned and ran continuously by the Wilson family for the last 125 years. In 1886, Lee Wilson founded the town in the Southern part of his farming and logging operation. In 2010, the Wilson family sold what remained of their farming operation which at its peak consisted of 65,000 acres, homes and historic buildings. The Wilson book collection is composed of books descending from the collection of Lee Wilson and subsequent members of the Wilson family including Robert E. Lee Wilson Jr. and Robert E. Lee Wilson III, who were both graduates of Yale University.
